What is Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia is a term simply meaning "muscle and connecting tissue pain". Although termed as a disease, many doctors say it is not a disease itself; it is actually a chronic disorder or symptom and denotes underlying problems which cause the chronic and widespread pain.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic disorder characterized by chronic widespread pain, stiffness and tenderness of the muscles, joints, and tendons - pain and stiffness in the tissues that support and move the bones and joints. It is often accompanied by fatigue and tingling in the muscles. Integrative health practices seem to have some answers.
The Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Centers (FFC) are dedicated to treating patients suffering from conditions known as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It is through a holistic, integrative and comprehensive approach to the treatment of underlying physiological factors that differentiates our approach and ultimate patient success. It is our goal to develop individualized and sustaining regimens that lead to a significant change for positive patient outcomes.
